Rehabilitation:
Canine Icer™
makes custom products for the Veterinary Physical Therapy Community.
In addition to
Icers we make wraps and vests with flexible, non-toxic, variable
weights.
Weights build
muscle mass and help dogs with sensory deficits track more normally
through sensory re-education.
Weights should
only be used under the direct supervision of a veterinarian or physical
therapist. For this reason, they are only sold to medical professionals
or their clients with proper referral.
Carpal
Wraps™ designed by Dr. Laurie McCauley of TOPS Veterinary Rehabilitation
provide either rigid or flexible support to dogs’ legs. Thick neoprene
wraps the leg while interior pockets hold flexible or rigid stays
for additional support. An excellent choice for performance dogs;
carpal wraps provide soft but firm support during practice sessions.
For more acute conditions rigid stays provide the support needed to
help take pressure off of the leg. Custom Hock wraps also available
.
